Moises knows the practice of law well. He began his legal career drafting opinions for the Court and advising the Court on issues of the law. The same Courts where Moises now frequently appears on behalf of his clients. From there, Moises passed on offers to work at some of the nation’s largest firms: instead of working for the powerful, he elected to help individuals recover for their injuries. To that end, Moises joined a highly-respected trial law firm, where he tried and won his first personal injury case in April 2013.

After winning several significant verdicts, Moises founded Cedillos Law Firm— a firm dedicated to the proposition that seriously injured people deserve top-quality representation. Moises does what he loves most: he represents the people against the powerful. Each year, Moises has obtained substantial settlements in cases involving workplace injuries, construction accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, disfigurements, amputations, burn injuries, electrocutions, wrongful deaths and many others. Moises works tirelessly on each case and treats each case as his only case. He prides himself on working long hours.

The legal community has recognized Moises’ ability. One of his jury verdicts was recognized as a Top 100 Verdict in Texas in 2017 by topverdict.com. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 by Thomson Reuters, a distinction received by no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in Texas, and was identified as Top Attorney in North America in 2018 by Who’s Who Directories.

Moises is grateful for his position in life and for the last decade has donated annually to the Children’s Defense Fund, Beat the Odds Scholarship Program; a program that honors high school seniors who are overcoming adversity while demonstrating academic excellence. Moises is a past recipient of the award. He is an advocate of paying it forward. Thus, Moises makes philanthropy a cornerstone of his firm and, for this reason, developed a Community Outreach Program to ensure his firm does their part to, in the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “be the change you wish to see in the world.”
